Suffolk SportsAid

How we are proudly supporting the next generation of young sportsmen and women.

SportsAid supports young sportsmen and women who aspire to be our next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions.

Typically aged 12 to 18, these athletes face huge challenges, making great sacrifices every day of their lives to train and compete.

They can train for more than 15 hours a week after school, travel more than 600 miles a month and spend more than £6,000 a year on their sport – with most relying entirely on SportsAid and their families for support.

The extensive list of athletes to receive support from Suffolk SportsAid includes 6 of Suffolk’s London 2012 participants including both medal winners – Anthony Ogogo and Zoe Newson - and both 2014 Commonwealth Games medallists - Chris Walker-Hebborn and Harry Martin.
