A range of businesses and organisations have agreed to sponsor and support the Raising the Bar Awards 2019.

The Raising the Bar Awards, taking place Wherstead Park in Ipswich on Wednesday 10th July, is one of the biggest celebrations for the education sector in the county.

Bringing together more than 100 people for an afternoon tea of celebration and inspiration, the Raising the Bar Awards showcase the talent, hard work and determination of those who continually go the extra mile to inspire others and improve levels of educational attainment, ensuring that every child and young person in Suffolk can achieve their full potential.

Our Award Sponsors are:

Opus Teach

Opus Teach is a supply service which provides high quality supply staff to schools in Suffolk.

They work closely with both schools and supply staff to ensure that they offer the best service to both; providing schools with talented, fully compliant teachers, who are able to deliver what’s needed in the classroom and paying teachers in line with main teacher pay scales.

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Suffolk County Council, they are committed to making a difference. Any profits made after the cost of running the service are retained within the public sector, with a proportion reinvested into education in Suffolk.

The Suffolk Primary and Secondary Headteachers’ Associations

The Suffolk Primary and Secondary Headteachers’ Associations are dedicated to serving headteachers/principals in Suffolk.

They strive to support their members by helping them to achieve the very best outcomes for Suffolk’s children and young people. Their work is shaped by headteachers/principals, but their core principles are very simple: To give Suffolk Headteachers a “voice” both locally and nationally.

To offer confidential support to Headteachers. To champion Headteachers’ well-being both locally and nationally. To provide high quality CPD and opportunities to network with colleagues. To communicate and keep members abreast of current educational thinking and developments.
