Proposed alteration of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision at Gorseland Primary School, Martlesham Heath

Determination of Statutory Proposal to alter Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) provision at Gorseland Primary School, Martlesham Heath

On 13 May 2020 the Local Authority considered and approved the proposal as published.
This means that from 1 September 2020 the number of specialist places increases by 5, the profile of need is broadened and the age range is lowered to include reception aged children.

The reason for this decision is to support the development of local specialist provision for pupils/learners/children/young people who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This consultation has now closed.

Suffolk County Council published a Statutory Notice to alter special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) reserved provision at Gorseland Primary School, effective from 01 September 2020 by broadening the profile of need, increasing the number of pupil places and expanding the age range to include reception aged children.
