Statutory Proposal to Establish Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Provision at Oulton Broad Primary School

Determination of our Statutory Proposal to add SEND reserve provision at Oulton Broad Primary School.

On 22 June 2022 the Local Authority considered and conditionally approved the proposal as published subject to the acquisition of land on Church Lane, Oulton Broad. This means that (subject to the acquisition of land) the school will have a 12 place reception/Key Stage 1 Unit for children with specialist educational needs. The reason for this decision is to provide additional specialist places to meet demand.

Suffolk County Council published a Statutory Proposal to establish Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) reserved provision at Oulton Broad Primary School. The proposal is to establish a 12 place Reception and Key Stage 1 Unit at the school to provide education for children with a wide range of SEND needs from 3 January 2023.
