Forest Heath Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) consultation

Our consultation on the new traffic regulation order covering the Forest Heath area ran from 15 February 2019 to 8 March 2019.

This consultation has now closed.

We are consulting on a new Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) in the area covered by Forest Heath District Council. This covers:

  • waiting restrictions
  • loading restrictions
  • parking places

This new TRO uses maps to show existing static traffic restrictions, rather than the current text documents.

The maps have been created by checking what restrictions currently apply and which lines and signs are currently present. If any of these were different they have been changed.

Changes to existing restrictions are proposed:

  • On the western side of High Street, Brandon where the limited waiting bay outside Grafton House is to have the northern 10 metres replaced by "No Waiting at Any Time"
  • On the western side of High Street, Brandon where the limited waiting bay opposite numbers 72 and 74 is to have the northern 5 metres replaced by "No Waiting at Any Time"
  • On the eastern side of Chapel Street, Exning where the limited waiting bay outside number 44 is to be removed
  • At Market Place, Mildenhall where two advisory disabled parking bays to the south west of number 33 will become formal disabled parking bays

We are asking for feedback on the traffic regulation orders shown on the TrafWeb page.
