Suffolk's Household Waste Recycling Centres are open and ready to recieve any Christmas waste you are not putting out for kerbside collection. Trees, cards, paper, bottles - we can recycle it all for you.

Councillor Lisa Chambers, Suffolk County Council's cabinet member responsible for waste, said:

"This is a very busy time for all our recycling centres, and we are expecting - and hoping - people to come along with their trees, cards, bottles and anything else from Christmas that can be recycled. The sites may be busy, but there are plenty of opportunities for people to leave their recycable waste there."

From today (2 January), all council-run centres will be open 9am - 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.
