When bad weather or other emergencies force schools to close,
headteachers are asked to telephone Suffolk County Council.
Headteachers are encouraged to make a early decision, so that we
can update our web site and inform the media, and therefore parents
and carers, as quickly as possible.
To find out if your school is closed, check this page or listen
to the local radio stations for advice. Please do not contact us or
the media directly as this overloads telephone lines that are
already at or near capacity.
