Local Links is an exciting Suffolk County Council venture; delivering a programme of workplace, school and developer engagement to promote a more active commute.

The Suffolk County Council annual Travel to Work Survey helps us understand the various ways people travel to work. This survey is one of our initiatives to improve transport services by understanding how people travel to work within the county. Have you tried to 'book your ride' through Suffolk on Board yet? Visit the website to see where Connecting Communities can take you. You are also able to suggest routes.

The Suffolk County Council Travel to Work Survey is due to be sent out at the beginning of May 2018. To take part, email us at travelplans@suffolk.gov.uk

John Smith, Group HR Director for Greene King said:

"We're pleased to have been able to support Suffolk County Council's project to encourage healthier and more environmentally friendly commutes to work.

"We want to support our team members to lead healthier lifestyles, and this event was an ideal way to inspire those we are able, to consider walking or cycling to work

"We had a great turnout and, with the nice weather we've been experiencing recently, anticipate more of our team will leave the car at home and commute by bike or foot!"
