Services relating to domestic and commerical planning applications are provided by the Suffolk district and borough councils. Please log on to the Planning Portal for further information.
Suffolk County Council is responsible for determining planning applications for:
- mineral extraction;
- waste management facilities; and
- its own development, for example, new roads, schools (not academy) and fire stations.
To submit, view and comment on Planning Applications, please access Suffolk County Council Planning Application System.
For a planning application to be valid and processed by the County Council, applicants are required to submit the information detailed in the below documents.
