What is the Checkatrade?
Checkatrade is a directory of local tradespeople who have been checked by Suffolk County Council Trading Standards and made a commitment to treat their customers fairly.
How does it work?
We work with Checkatrade to make the Suffolk Trader directory available online to everyone.
You can browse the Suffolk Trader directory for free; it will also allow you to read what Suffolk consumers have to say about the Traders so you can choose the right tradesman for your needs.
The feedback that the Traders receive help other residents select the right trader for their needs. Please bear in mind that in exchange for this free service you will be asked to give the Traders feedback for others to read. Your feedback could help them avoid rogue traders who may try to take advantage of them.
If you are unable to access the online directories, you can call Checkatrade directly on 0845 408 4866.
