Trading Standards is always working to achieve a fair and safe trading environment and informed confident consumers.
First line consumer advice is provided through a regional Trading Standards helpline provided by Citizens Advice consumer service on 03454 040506.
This is also the number to call if you wish to report any concerns you may have with the way traders and businesses are operating. All consumer concerns and issues are logged centrally and answered where possible. Enquiries and concerns requiring further investigation will be escalated to your local Trading Standards services as and when necessary and appropriate.
Additionally, further advice can be obtained via the Business Companion website.
