How much does it cost?
The passport for learning will cost you £2 and there are two ways to enrol your child.
- Search A - K or L - Z list of schools to find out if they are a SCU member. If your child's school is listed please contact them directly where you can purchase a passport for learning for £2.
- Enroll your child as a independent participant on 01473 583525 or by email.
You child can become an independent participant whether their school is a member or not and if they are also home educated. The cost of the passport for learning is £2.

What happens next?
You child is ready to begin their journey with their passport for learning.
Each Passport to Learning is individually numbered which makes each child, a passport holder, and an individual member of the national Children's University™.
Graduation cermonies and award certificates
To mark your son or daughter's achievements graduation ceremonies are held to present national award certificates.

Information for parents of independent participants
If you would like your child to participate in a graduation ceremony you will need to pay £15 and cheques are payable to Suffolk County Council.
If your child does not participate in a graduation ceremony, and you would like their national award certificate posted to you this can be arranged at a charge of £5.
It is the responsibility of parents of home educated children to advise Suffolk Children's University™ when their child is close to / or has reached any of the Children's University awards thresholds so that an invitation to participate in a Graduation Ceremony can be issued.
