Great Cornard

In May 2010, Suffolk County Council’s Cabinet approved the following changes to schools in Great Cornard.

Boxford CEVC Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6. The admission number will be reduced to 30 places per year.

Bures CEVC Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6.

Lavenham Community Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6.

Monks Eleigh CEVC Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6.

Nayland Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6.

Pot Kiln Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6. The admission number will be reduced to 45 places per year.

Stoke-by-Nayland CEVC Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6. The admission number will be reduced to 15 places per year.

Wells Hall Community Primary School
In September 2012, children will remain at this school into Y5 and in September 2013, they will stay on into Y6. The admission number will be reduced to 60 places per year.

Great Cornard Middle School
There will be no admission to this school in September 2012 and the school will close in August 2013. The use of this site is subject to further consultation with planning authorities.

Stoke-by-Nayland Middle School
There will be no admission to this school in September 2012 and the school will close in August 2013. The use of this site is subject to further consultation with planning authorities.

Great Cornard Upper School and Technology College
From September 2013, this school will admit children from the age of 11 to 18. There will be 240 places available in each year group.
