Specialist Educational Provision is the arrangement we make to support vulnerable learners to have the best preparation for life before and beyond school.

Suffolk County Council has a statutory responsibility to keep the work of specialist educational provision under review to ensure that it meets the needs vulnerable learners in both the short term and the long term.

We want to work with children, young people and their families and carers, as well as the professionals who provide support, to agree the types and models of delivery for specialist educational provision.

To help us do this, we are gathering information on a range of options for the types of specialist educational provision that could be provided to vulnerable leaners in Suffolk with special educational needs. As well as asking for your comments on these options we would like to hear any other ideas you may have.

You can view the options in the Future of Specialist Educational Provision in Suffolk- Options Review Information Pack.
