SEND reforms | Where are we now?
Suffolk SENDIASS held a conference for parents and carers to join in a day of reflecting on how the changes to Special Education Needs and Disability legislation have been implemented across Suffolk.
The presentations from our speakers and workshop providers are available below:

- The importance of the SEND Information Report
Karen Lodge, Learning Support Advisor, Learning and Improvement Service
- Parent workshop outcomes
Judith Hinchcliffe, SEND Reforms Officer

We took some questions and comments from parents on the day, read these, along with our responses, below:
- Parent/carer questions and our responses
- Feedback from parents
- Q&A for Karen Lodge, Learning and Improvement Service
We compiled an overview of the discussion activity that parents and carers took part in during the conference:
It shows the number of concerns that were raised on the day, as well as positive suggestions for future actions including a range of examples where practises are working well.
We will be sending these comments to a number of Local Authority Officers for their information and invite them to respond. Any response received will be shared in due course.
