The Suffolk Adoption Agency Policies have been endorsed by the Council’s Executive Committee. These set out detailed policies governing our work with children, birth parents and adopters.
Our mission: securing families for Suffolk children
We will try to provide a comprehensive and high quality service to meet the lifelong needs of all those individuals whose lives are affected by adoption. We give particular emphasis to finding and maintaining safe and secure families for children and young people needing adoption enabling them to achieve the best possible outcomes for life.

The attached worksheets are available to download by social workers working with children whose plan is adoption to help ascertain their wishes and feelings.

It has been developed to ensure that Suffolk has a highly skilled and professional children and young people's workforce who are able to support the achievements and well-being of all children and young people in Suffolk.
