Customer First is the initial point of contact for social services in Suffolk

Email (this is our preferred method of contact for non-urgent enquiries)

Telephone 0808 800 4005. Calls are free from landlines and most mobiles, and lines are open 08:00-18:45 Mon-Fri. Outside these hours calls are automatically diverted to the Emergency Duty Service, which deals with any matters that cannot wait until the next working day.

Send a referral to Customer First 

  • Adult Referral online form for non-urgent referrals. Please do not use this form for making referrals about someone who is at risk of abuse, harm or neglect, but use the Adult Safeguarding referral form below instead.
  • Adult Safeguarding Referral online form to use if you are concerned that someone is at risk of abuse, harm or neglect. If you feel they are in immediate danger please contact us on 0808 800 4005 rather than completing this form, or dial 999 in an emergency.
  • For child referrals or child safeguarding concerns please report these by telephone on 0808 800 4005 or if you are a professional find guidance and complete a form which can be emailed to Customer First
