The European passport return service is for EEA and Swiss nationals and their family members applying online via EEA1 for a registration certificate to confirm their right to live in the UK as a 'qualified person' (worker, self-employed, self-sufficient or jobseeker), or via EEA3 for permanent residence.
The Suffolk Register Service will photocopy your EEA or Swiss passport and forward a copy along with your checklist and supporting documents on your behalf.
You can use your passport while your application is being processed.
£18 (including VAT) plus postage. This fee is payable at the time of appointment booking and is non-refundable.

Appointments are available at the Bury St Edmunds Registration Office (only); between 9am and 2.30pm Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Due to the high volume of this service, please ensure you have an appointment booked before you submit your online application. Please be aware that the fee of £18 is payable at the time of booking your appointment and is non-refundable.
