The European passport return service is for EEA and Swiss nationals and their family members applying online via EEA1 for a registration certificate to confirm their right to live in the UK as a 'qualified person' (worker, self-employed, self-sufficient or jobseeker), or via EEA3 for permanent residence.
We'll will photocopy your EEA or Swiss passport and send a copy along with your checklist and supporting documents on your behalf to the Home Office.
You can use your passport while your application is being processed.

This fee is payable at the time of booking the appointment.
An additional fee for postage will be charged during the appointment. The amount payable will depend on the weight of the documents we are sending to the Home Office to support your application.

Appointments are only held at the Bury St Edmunds Registration Office; Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9am to 2.30pm.
Due to the high volume of this service, please ensure you have an appointment booked before you submit your online application.
