Lowestoft Bus Station Refurbishment

Suffolk County Council is embarking on a major refurbishment of the bus station at the Britten Centre in Lowestoft. This will see improvements to the stops on Gordon Road as well as an increase to the number of stands available within the bus station itself.

Work will be phased in 3 stages:

Phase 1 will see Gordon Road closed between the bus station entrances and Katwijk Way to the West. This will start on 21st January and is expected to last for 8 weeks.

Phase 2 is for the eastern end of Gordon Road between the bus station entrance and London Road North. Thus work is scheduled to start on 17th March and will last for 2 weeks.

During this time there will be temporary stopping arrangements which will be as follows:
