Suffolk County Council inspects, maintains and repairs
Suffolk's 1840 bridges except for those on
trunk
roads which are managed by W S Atkins on behalf of the
Highways Agency.
Any questions regarding these bridges should be directed to W
S Atkins rather than Suffolk County Council.
To report a problem
To report a problem with a highway bridge, contact our
Customer Service
Centre. Suffolk County Council will investigate and take
any necessary action. If the problem is considered to be
dangerous it will be investigated as a matter of urgency and
appropriate action taken.
If it is non dangerous, for example graffiti, it will be
assessed and work may be scheduled in with other planned
work.
