safety - aiming to make Suffolk an even safer place to live and
work.

or harrassment - describing the council's policies on stopping
discrimination and harassment, and improving access to council
services for all parts of the community.

Emergency planning - assisting the Emergency Services to: help
the victims; maintain services; protect the environment; and
work with others to restore normality.
- Fire
and rescue services - promoting fire safety, and preparing for:
fighting fires and protecting people and property from fires;
rescuing people from road traffic accidents; and dealing with other
emergencies.

Social Inclusion and Diversity - promoting the social inclusion
and diversity agenda across Suffolk and nationally; promoting
cross- working in the drug and alcohol action team, Prostitution
Strategy Team, Community Safety Unit and Social Inclusion and
Community Cohesion Team.
