- We have recently been asked to take the lead in reducing the
number of people killed or seriously injured in the 16-25 age
group, following our successes in leading the ‘Roadkill’ and ‘Learn
and Live’ events.
- We will use the opportunity provided by the secondment of our
new Partnership Manager to further refine our partnership
strategy.
- We will build on the success of IMPACT events. We will consider
carrying out events at different times of the day and for longer
periods of time.
- We will continue to improve safety with our partners. We will
extend this through our engagement with the Suffolk Local Area
Agreement and the Countywide Health and Well being Action Plan with
a view to protecting those most at risk in society.
- We will work with the local community in the area of Business
Continuity Planning, looking at the commercial, economic and social
impact of fire and other emergencies as well as the environmental
and heritage risk.
- We will work closely with the Police and other partners by
engaging in the Community Safety Partnerships (CSP)
- and Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT)
liaison meetings and be fully involved with the Local Area
Agreement (LAA).
