We want to make sure that Suffolk’s fire and rescue service does
all it can to prevent fires, protect the public and respond to
emergency situations.
This draft action plan explains the work we intend to start over
the next year to improve these services. The actions outlined here
have been put together by evaluating how well are we meeting our
targets, and by assessing risks and demonstrating how we will
reduce these risks.
On some of these actions we will be working with partners – in
other areas of the county council, and with organisations such as
Suffolk Police – to deliver improvements in a cost effective
way.
We now want to know what you think about these plans so that we
can set our priorities for the next year, and we look forward to
hearing your views.
