Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership (CDRP)
involvement
The RHI’s overall aim as part of working with CDRPs over
the 2005-08 strategy period is to:
“Provide a service to victims of racial harassment who report
racist incidents in order to improve their quality of life in
Suffolk".
The implementation plan governing racial harassment work across the
county has been extremely successful over the last few years. All
five CDRPs across the county have racial harassment as a shared
countywide strategic aim, meaning that strategic development and
delivery of initiatives are often undertaken jointly across the
county.
The overall strategic aim will ensure that casework support, policy
advice; training and education/prevention activities will form the
basis of how the RHI works with partners from across all the
district and borough areas during 2007/2008.
The Racial Harassment Forum (RHF)
The RHF is a multi agency partnership developed to tackle racial
harassment in Suffolk. The RHI leads in coordinating and delivering
the multi agency business plan. This business plan is supported by
the CDRPs across Suffolk and aims to develop joint strategies,
implement projects and promote good practice across the
county.
