Funding

Suffolk County Council has helped to secure of an average of £28 million of external funding per annum into the county over the last 3 years. This funding is normally for service improvement and innovation.

Suffolk County Council's External Funding Team has been central to this external funding success. The team's prime role is the facilitation of applications from Suffolk to the principle external funding sources, namely Europe, the Lottery, East of England Development Agency and UK government sources.

Over £100 million of external funding is expected to be available over the next 4 years. The External Funding Team will be working to secure this funding.

The Fund & Deliver service includes newsletter production, regular funding updates and fact sheets, signposting to funding sources, grantfinder and other web based services, detailed support and assistance in preparing funding applications, organisational and business development advice, and high level liaison and negotiation with funding bodies on behalf of the public, private and voluntary sectors in Suffolk.

The European funding service pages provide information on principal European funding streams.
