At Suffolk County Council’s Cabinet meeting on 2 September Councillor Eddy Alcock, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Waste Management, will ask Cabinet to take a series of measures to reduce the council’s carbon emissions, plan to deliver services in a changing climate, conserve landscapes and improve habitat for wildlife.
29 August 2008 - Suffolk County Council to upgrade and extend footpath between Stowmarket and Onehouse
The current footpath is just a track across a field and difficult to use at times and no use to cyclists. The plan is to surface the path and upgrade it to a bridleway, when Sustrans will divert National Cycle Route 51 onto the path to avoid using the current narrow lanes
