Emma Graham from Suffolk needs your vote in The Great
British Garden Competition.
In April this year Olympics Minister Tessa
Jowell, the Royal Horticultural Society and London 2012 launched The Great
British Garden Competition. The aim of the competition was to celebrate the
British passion for gardening by offering two budding gardeners the
opportunity to help design a garden that will sit within the new Olympic
Park in east London.
The winner will work with the Olympic
Delivery Authority's world-class team of landscape architects and garden
designers on the final design of the garden. The garden will implemented
for the Games and will remain in place as a legacy following the Games.

Emma Graham's design (pictured) is one
of just 6, from an entry of 112, to be short-listed in the adult
category. A public vote will now take place to determine the
eventual winner.
Emma said "I have had a great
interest in the Olympic Games since; at the age of around six I was told
that my Great Grand Father won both gold and silver medals for the
British team in the 1908 London Games. With this and my interest in
horticulture and my graphic design training I felt compelled to design a
garden."

Voting closes on 30 October 2009 at 12 noon.
