Brazil are currently ranked 7th in the world and will be using the World championships to introduce some of their new superstars to the International arena.

The squad of four will be accompanied by 2 coaches, a team doctor and head of delegation. They will spend an intensive eight days preparing and training in Ipswich before the World Championships which take place at the O2 Arena between 13th and 18th October.

Billed as the greatest gymnastics show on earth the World Championships will involve 437 gymnasts representing 72 nations.

Linda Stopher, Manager of Ipswich Gymnastics Centre, said "This is a real coupe for us. Brazil were one of our target nations and it’s great that they have decided to come back to Ipswich. In 2006 during their last visit we built up a fantastic rapport with them, they were really lovely people as well as fantastic gymnasts.”
