TOURISM CONFERENCE TO FOCUS ON THE LONDON 2012 GAMES

Destination Suffolk, 2012 –The Opportunities For Suffolk is the Choose Suffolk Annual Tourism Conference and will be held on Wednesday 3^rd March 2010 at Trinity Park, Ipswich. The conference will bring together the county’s tourism providers, key partners and public sector agencies for a truly inspiring day.

This year’s event, including workshops and networking, focuses on the 2012 Olympic and ParalympicGames and explores the opportunities it will deliver for Suffolk. High-profile speakers already lined up for the Conference include: Simon Clegg, CEO of Ipswich Town Football Club and previous CEO of the British Olympic Association; Sandie Dawe, Chief Executive of VisitBritain and Paul Simpson, Chief Executive of Visit Manchester. An Olympic Legend will also attend to share their enthusiasm for London 2012.
