How to get a library card
If you have ancestors that come from Suffolk or you wish to
research something in or about Suffolk itself, why not come and
visit us? Our trained and knowledgeable staff are on hand to
advise both beginners and experts on using the records, so ask them
to help you.
Anyone can view the archives; we have some of the more popular
records - like the parish registers, census returns and newspapers
- on microfilm or microfiche to make it easier for you to use them
and to save wear and tear on the
originals.

don't have enough time to do the research yourself, we can find out
