Refreshments are available in the Coffee Shop on the Ground Floor of the library.

Sundays at Lowestoft Record Office

We offer a full searchroom service on Sundays but are unable to produce original documents

  • Once a month we hold a free family activity, make a date for the following Sundays with us:
  • Sunday 12 September 11.00 am - 1.00 pm Down Your Street, find out about your neighbourhood using maps and street directories.

 

  • Sunday 14 November 11.00 am - 1.00 pm Lest we Forget:World War One Soldiers looking at their records and creating medals.

 

The office is situated on the first floor of the library, just off the main shopping area in Lowestoft. It is reached via the A12 from Ipswich and the south, and from Great Yarmouth via the A146 (Norwich) and A143 (Bury St Edmunds) from the west. The office is within easy walking distance of both the bus and railway stations.
The nearest long stay car parks are situated adjacent to the Railway Station, the Britten Centre and Adrian Road.
