Special Events
Author Visit with Julia Blackburn
Wednesday 6 August
Author
Julia Blackburn gave a lively and amusing talk, holding the
audience of 38 enthralled.
First she read a chapter from her book
My animals and other
family about getting a pet bush baby from Harrods when she was
a child, and then she talked about her relationship with her mother
and how she came to write her latest book
The Three of
Us.
After reading from that, the evening finished with an interesting
question and answer session and the opportunity to buy some of
Julia's titles from a local bookseller - and get them signed.
