National Year of Reading
Author Visit, Friday 10 October, 9.30am
As part of our
National Year of Reading celebrations, children's author
Jan Ormerod visited the library. Children came from
Chilton Primary school to see her. As it was the school's book
week, they were dressed up as book heroes and villains. Jan Ormerod
read four of her stories, and had the children participating
with fun actions, particularly in; "If you're happy and you know
it'. It was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
