celebrating this by running a number of events and activities
throughout the year.

Georgian Gem Weekend 13 and 14 September 2008 at Bury St
Edmunds Library
Not Just Jane – Women Writers in Georgian
Times
Come along to
Bury St Edmunds Library over the heritage weekend and find out
about the famous and not so famous women writers of the Georgian
period, such as Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, Elizabeth Inchbald and
Elizabeth Bonhote. Take part in our quiz, and see how much you know
about the Georgians.
On Sunday, join us between 10.30am and 1.00pm for our children’s
craft sessions, including mask-making, fan-making, silhouettes, and
make your own matchbox or shoebox Georgian theatre to take home
with you.
No booking necessary, free admittance to all.
