Services available at Ipswich Library
Ipswich Library includes the County Reference Library and the
Arts Library, as well as the lending area on the ground floor,
providing a large selection of books, CDs, DVDs and videos for
loan.
In addition the lecture hall is available for hire with the
use of adjacent kitchen and cloakroom. Please

The following collections and services are held at Ipswich
Library:
The County Reference Library is situated on the first
floor of the library, and is divided into two areas,
which include a large study room (Northgate Room) suitable for
quiet study, a quick reference area and newspaper and
periodical reading area (Old Foundry Room).
As well as a comprehensive stock of reference books, there are
separate business, careers and travel sections.
Two computers are available to use for word processing,
presentations and spreadsheets in addition to the
Internet facilities offered on each floor. There
are also
Fax and Photocopying services and a microfilm/fiche
reader printer available for use.
