When did it start?
The first meeting was held on Thursday 27 September 2007. The session was hosted by local author Maureen Wills talking about writing and publishing her two books - Chronicles of Ringshall and Dragons of Honeysuckle Valley. Since then there has been a variation of activities including talks on first aid, computing, poetry, massage, ancestry and personal safety.

At Home Library Service Reading Group

Meets: First Tuesday of month, 10.30 - 11.45am

This friendly group is for all older people, including users of the At Home Library Service and their carers, families or volunteer visitors. We offer a stimulating and varied programme of books and topics to read and discuss. The group meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 10:30am - 11:45am.

The group, in partnership with other At Home Library Service reading groups in Suffolk and Suffolk Artlink, published a book called Full of Life.  600 copies of the book were published and are currently available in libraries across the county.  Search the library catalogue.

More group details

This monthly Book Group is run by the At Home Library Service and supported by Suffolk Artlink who also pays for transport to and from the sessions. If you require use of the free transport then contact the library at least one week before the event.
