International Older People's Day

Reminiscences Display From Tuesday 30 September, we had a Reminiscences display which was up in the library for two weeks.  We asked members of the community to loan us items of memorabilia, objects, photos, poems, letters, etc. to use in the display.  On the first day of our display, we provided visiters with refreshments of tea, coffee and cakes etc. - twelve people attended and they seemed to have a really pleasant time, reminiscing about their village and their lives, with a display and selection of books to help trigger the memories.
