We run
a Tot Rock session for pre-school children every
Friday, 9.45am-10.15am.

Top Time - Older peoples social club - drop in sessions
started on Tuesday 3 November with a jigsaw club. Come and join us
between 11.00am and 12.30pm for a free coffee and tell us what you
would like to see happen at our Top time sessions.
Sunday activities
The library is open every Sunday, come along and enjoy a
relaxed friendly atmosphere where you can chat, listen to music,
surf the net or try IT taster sessions, as well as borrow books,

Past events
The Very Hungry Caterpillar 40th birthday
celebrations
In March 2009 Eric Carle's famous children's book "
The Very Hungry Caterpillar" turned 40. At Clare library
we celebrated the occasion over several days. On Sunday 8 March
children made origami caterpillars in our craft session. In
Monday's Bookstart session staff brought
the story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to life by using a
special story sack and on Tuesday the library hosted a visit from a
local nursery "Care Bears" and entertained the children with
stories and crafts.
