The following activities are run regularly at Chantry library:

Tuesdays 2.00pm - 3.00pm Sharing Stories - an activity for adults with learning disabilities
First Tuesday of month Please check with the library Police Surgery: a chance to talk to the local community support officer

55 Alive club our Top Time group for older people meets for a varied programme of events, tea, coffee and chat

Hawthorn Children’s Centre activities at Chantry Library
Mondays 1.30pm-3.00pm Toddle and Talk (Play activities for 1-2 year olds)
Wednesdays 1.30pm-3.00pm Little Sunshine (a group for young parents under the age of 24 and their children)
Thursdays 10.00am-11.30am Baby massage (by appointment)
Fridays 10.00am-12.00am Stay & Play (arts, crafts and play activitoes for children aged 0-5 and their carers)

Sharing Stories

An activity for adults with learning disabilities every Tuesday 2.00pm – 3.00pm. Drop in to meet friends old and new, enjoy a story and go on the computers.

Your Reading Community

Chantry Library has a Reading Community to get as many people as possible reading and sharing ideas about the same book. The focus is on reading for pleasure and bringing the community together.
