Bungay library community courtyard
The Bungay library community courtyard was opened on Sunday 19
September 2010.
Over the last year a group from Sustainable Bungay have
continued the work to transform and maintain the courtyard at
Bungay Library into a community garden.
The garden is now an oasis of calm, with beautiful scented
flowers, trees laden with apples, pears and cherries, whilst birds,
bees butterflies and the Library cat all happily go about their
daily business!
Sustainable Bungay will be holding a ‘Grow and Give’ in the
garden on Sunday 2 October. Bring a plant some seeds/cuttings
or any excess produce you have grown to give or trade with
others.
See
their progress so far.
Anyone wishing to take part please contact
Sustainable Bungay
with availability. |
