Weekly Activities


Day Time Activity
Mondays 10.00am Baby Bounce/Tot Rock for the under 5's - a Bookstart activity
Sundays 10.30am - 11.00am Story time for 3-7 age group - a Bookstart activity
Sundays 11.20am - 12.30pm Craft Club - craft activities club with 6-12 year olds in mind, but young people of all ages are welcome
Sundays 1.00pm - 2.30pm Reading and Board Games - regular gaming sessions where young people can play against each other or challenge staff to a number of board games. Staff also run reading games where cue cards are used to prompt spoken or physical actions to words within stories, and improve both young peoples reading and listening skills

Sunday activities

Brandon library is open every Sunday, come along and enjoy a relaxed friendly atmosphere where you can chat, listen to music, surf the net or try IT taster sessions, as well as borrow books, films, music and games. 

Special competitions – We hold seasonal activities and competitions for festivals, and topical activities to tie in with book and film releases such as “Harry Potter” quizzes and a “Design a Simpson’s character” competition.

This summer children had the opportunity to take part in this year's reading challenge ... Team Read. All they had to do was read 6 books...
