"Me and Dad" is the new activity session, which started on 22 February, aimed at dads who are looking to do something different to the usual with their children.  These sessions are held at Ipswich County Library on a Sunday once a fortnight.  “Me and Dad” welcomes dads and their kids (mums are welcome, too!) to come along at 10.30am and enjoy two hours of stimulating and entertaining activities.

So far children and dads have made crocodiles out of cardboard boxes, robots out of old plastic bottles, castles out of egg cartons and rockets that “take off” powered by soluble vitamin C tablets! Each session ends with library staff reading stories related to the day’s theme.
