We offer two different but complimentary book loan services for all
subscribing schools - topic loans and the
mobile
exchange service.
Topic loan collections
A topic loan is a collection of 20 books (and sometimes also other
items, such as wallcharts and videos), individually compiled to
meet your needs. A collection can be on a single subject, or a
combination of subjects.
Topic collections are loaned for one term (although they may be
renewed for an additional term if required). Our topic loans are
supplied in a sturdy plastic box, and are delivered and collected
from your school.
Teachers and librarians are welcome to visit one of our centres by
appointment to select their own collection.

Mobile exchange service
Our three mobile libraries offer a convenient way for teachers and
pupils to select stock in an attractive library setting.
Each mobile library stocks a comprehensive range of fiction and
non-fiction stock, with a special emphasis on stock to support
independent reading for pleasure.
Schools can exchange up to 250 books each time the mobile library
visits.
