use and exploit to improve their quality of life. Suffolk libraries
offer free access to a wide range of reading opportunities, which
educate, stimulate, entertain and inform the people of
Suffolk.
Libraries:
- Support formal education and learning at all times of
life;
- Are a safe place for young people to study, find information,
learn for school, or follow their interests, as part of a family or
on their own;
- Are the most local and accessible places for working age adults
to learn- to help them get better skills to get a job, study for
formal qualifications, or learn to help with their family or their
hobbies, at their own pace;
- Are a safe and trusted place where people can access the
internet, research a wide range of information and learn computer
skills.
