Learning in Suffolk libraries

A library is an excellent place for everyone in the community to use and exploit to improve their quality of life. Suffolk libraries offer free access to a wide range of reading opportunities, which educate, stimulate, entertain and inform the people of Suffolk.

Libraries:
  • Support formal education and learning at all times of life;
  • Are a safe place for young people to study, find information, learn for school, or follow their interests, as part of a family or on their own;
  • Are the most local and accessible places for working age adults to learn- to help them get better skills to get a job, study for formal qualifications, or learn to help with their family or their hobbies, at their own pace;
  • Are a safe and trusted place where people can access the internet, research a wide range of information and learn computer skills.
