Community Legal service

Suffolk Libraries is a member of the Community Legal Service (CLS) partnership for East Anglia and has obtained a quality mark for the standard of services provided.

What is the Community Legal Service?

The CLS was launched in April 2000 aiming to improve access for the public to quality legal information, advice and services through local networks of quality assured services. For further details go to the CLS web site.

How can Suffolk Libraries and Heritage help you?

In smaller libraries we provide a self help information service by giving you access to the CLS Directory for the East region which shows you how and where to find legal help in the region. We also various relevant leaflets for you to look at.
