National Bookstart Day Friday 10 October 2008
The theme of this year’s

Bookstart Day is 'Pirates'. Suffolk libraries will
be celebrating Bookstart Day too.
Children's Book Week 2007
To celebrate during Children's Book Week 2007, the
children's author and illustrator Ian Beck visited
Haverhill Library and
Newmarket Library.
Ian Beck has been illustrating traditional tales for many years,
and has written too.
