Suffolk libraries run a varied programme of activities and events for all ages throughout the year. Also African Caribbean events and activities and events based on Indic culture and traditions.

August

  • 11 – 17 September 2010 Suffolk Libraries Cycling ChallengeTour of Britain This is a countywide challenge to cycle the 50.2 miles of the Suffolk part of the Tour of Britain race which is coming to the county on the 17 September. Customers and staff will be using their bicycles during the week leading up to the race and letting us know how far they have cycled. Six libraries which are on the route – Bury, Lavenham, Long Melford, Haverhill, Clare and Sudbury – will have a Design a Jersey competition for the children and safety checks for bicycles
