We advertise permanent and temporary vacancies in several places including:

  • local and national press;
  • on our web site www.suffolkjobsdirect.org - new vacancies are added every Wednesday afternoon; and
  • specialist magazines and associated websites.

Applying for jobs

Each advertisement includes information on how to apply.  We prefer you to apply on line but you can ring us to request an application pack to be sent to you by post.
Our job information includes:

  • a job and person profile explaining what the job involves
  • the knowledge, skills and experience you need to do the job
  • link to online (or an application form)
  • guidance on how to apply (where applicable)

If there is no information for the job you are interested in or you need more information, please contact the person named in the advertisement.

Submitting your application

  • If you are applying electronically simply follow the instructions to ‘submit’
  • If you are applying by post follow the instructions in the job application pack

However you send in your application, we must receive it no later than 1.00 pm on the closing date given.

If your application is successful, we will contact you to explain what happens next and give you details on anything you may need to prepare for the selection process.
