If you feel you need a bit more
confidence before going into a job and would also like to gain
some valuable work experience, then a work taster could be
just right for you. Lasting between 6-12 weeks, they are
designed to be flexible – up to 15 hours per week and to fit
the hours around what suits you. Work tasters are
unpaid, although some expenses may be reimbursed at the
discretion of Jobcentre Plus and if you meet the
criteria.
