Suffolk County
Council advertised its tender requirement in the Official
Journal of the European Union in order to alert organisations
across Europe of this exciting tender opportunity.
Those organisations that applied were sent an "Initial Descriptive
Document", which explained what we wanted to achieve and the
process for the procurement of the Residual Waste Treatment
Facility.
Those organisations that bid for this contract had to pass a
rigorous pre-qualification process before being invited to submit
detailed proposals.
